Your group's task is to choose one of the above links to research an animal welfare organization. (Every group will need to work on a different site, so once your group has selected their site, post your choice before beginning - first come, first served!) Work together to thoroughly research the website, and then report back to the wiki, answering the following questions:
Questions for Day One and Two:
What is the animal population that this organization serves?
What programs does this organization offer to raise community awareness about their mission?
What are the different opportunities available for community participation?
Does the organization have any restrictions on the way community volunteers can help? If so, why do you think they have these restrictions?
Your report must be submitted by the end of Day 3.
Day 4 and 5: After you have submitted your group's report below, read the reports of other groups. All groups are expected to respond with productive comments or questions to at least three other group reports. Responses must be posted by the end of Day 5.
ARE YOU FINISHED EARLY? GET STARTED ON DAY 6!
What ideas does your group have about how you personally could help this organization with their mission? This needs to be something more than “donate money” or “organize a fundraiser”. Please be as detailed as possible:
    1) What is your group's plan?
    2) What materials will you need, and how will you obtain them?
    3) How will you work with this organization to educate others about their mission, as part of your plan?
    Page still under construction.
